Classical Types of Engineers
Engineers as we all know are professionals who invent, design, analyze and build machines, structures etc. However, within the field of engineering, there are various types of engineers. In this article, we are going to explore three common types of engineers.

First, we have the civil engineers. They are the people who have an urge to build major infrastructure that will potentially exist for centuries. Civil engineers maintain and adapt the infrastructure that we depend on every day – our roads, railways and bridges; energy and water supply; waste networks and flood defenses etc. When we think of famous civil engineers from the past, we often think of Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Joseph Bazalgette, they are great engineer from the Victorian age who saved London from cholera by constructing new sewers.

Then, we have the mechanical engineers. They are involved in any machines that need constructing, this includes, moving parts, changing temperatures, foreign operating environments, weight and strength of materials. George Stephenson is a very significant mechanical engineer that contributed a lot to the society by designing the first locomotive Blücher in 1814.

Lastly, we have the electrical engineers. In the modern world, the role and importance of electrical engineers are transforming. The smaller and more complex electrical circuits become, the more vital the role of engineers in ensuring they operate as intended. They are very demanding in the IT and technology arenas. Nikola Tesla is definitely one of the most significant figures within the history of electrical engineering. He
